HOW TO PLAY
BAG O’ DOOM
The 5-Minute Cleanup Game

Bag O’ Doom turns toy cleanup into a simple, repeatable game kids can understand fast. Instead of reminding, repeating, or negotiating, parents use a timer, a clear goal, and one consistent consequence.

The result: cleanup feels less like a battle more like a game kids actually want to play.

THE SIMPLE SYSTEM THAT WORKS

Here’s the basic idea.
Full gameplay instructions are included with your purchase.

Step 1: PICK A MESS

START SMALL
Choose one clear cleanup zone, like blocks, stuffed animals, or toys on the floor.

Toy stuffed animals, including teddy bear, duck, robot, and cars, are scattered on a wooden floor in a cozy, well-lit playroom with shelves filled with toys and books in the background.

Step 2: SET A TIMER

THE COUNTDOWN
A timer creates
urgency, so cleanup stops feeling open-ended and starts feeling like a game.

Two children, a girl with curly hair and a boy with straight hair, are excitedly looking at a glowing alarm clock in the center that shows 5:00. The scene is set in a cozy room with toys like a robot, toy car, rubber duck, airplane, and dinosaur scattered on the table, and soft warm lighting from a lamp in the background.

Step 3: RACE THE CLOCK

LESS NAGGING. MORE ACTION.
Kids race to get toys
put away before the countdown ends.
Instead of repeating yourself, the game structure does the work.

Two children playing with toys and building blocks in a room filled with natural light, toys scattered on the floor, and a large clock showing approximately 10:10.

Step 4: DOOM TIME

THE BAG IS THE CONSEQUENCE
When time runs out, any toys still left out go temporarily into the Bag O’ Doom. Walk in with the bag, chant the chant, and let kids race to save their toys before they get scooped.

A young boy with an expression of shock on the floor of a room, reaching out towards a small toy airplane. There is a large alarm clock showing 0:00, a toy dinosaur, and a bag labeled 'BAG O' DOOM' with a teddy bear graphic and a timer icon. An adult hand is reaching toward the bag. The room is warmly lit, with shelves, toys, and a basketball hoop in the background.

AFTER THE GAME

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

KIDS EARN TOYS BACK
We provide you with simple, kid-friendly ways for kids to earn toys back and build a sense of accomplishment through positive actions.

A cartoon character with a large round head, bushy eyebrows, and a cape holding a checklist: 'EARN IT BACK! Tidy room 5 minutes x 2,' 'Made bed,' and 'Dirty clothes in hamper.' Two children, a boy and a girl, are excitedly looking at the character. The room is cozy, with warm lighting, a bookshelf, toys, and a window with star-patterned curtains.

WHAT THIS CREATES
